Bank Indonesia NTT Distributes 2,300 Iftar and Ramadan Food Packages
Bank Indonesia’s representative office for East Nusa Tenggara province (NTT) distributed 2,300 iftar meal packages and food items to the public as part of the “Semarak Rupiah Ramadan and Berkah Idulfitri” (SERAMBI) 2026 initiative.
Adidoyo Prakoso, Head of Bank Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara representative office, stated that the activity represented both Bank Indonesia’s concern and commitment to engage with communities during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H.
“Through our CBP BERAMAL and CBP BERKAH programmes, we distributed 2,300 iftar meal and food packages to the public across 11 locations. This is a tangible demonstration of solidarity and care from Bank Indonesia NTT during Ramadan,” Adidoyo said in Kupang on Sunday (1 March).
Package distribution took place on 20, 23–27 February 2026 at six locations: Masjid Nurul Mubien Namosain, Masjid Agung Baiturrahman Perumnas, Masjid Nurul Iman Oebobo, Masjid Al Muhajirin Oebufu, Kampung Muslim Oesapa, and Kampung Muslim Air Mata.
Further distributions will continue on 2–3 March and 5–6 March 2026 at Masjid Nurul Hidayah Kelapa Lima, Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Batakte, Kampung Muslim Kayu Putih, and Kampung Muslim Lasiana.
Adidoyo added that alongside the Ramadan package distribution, Bank Indonesia continues to intensify public education on the importance of preserving and maintaining the rupiah as a symbol of national sovereignty and increasing vigilance against various digital fraud schemes prevalent on social media.
“We hope this activity will not only bring blessings but also improve public literacy about the rupiah and safe transactions during Ramadan,” he said.
