Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo Resigns
Jakarta - Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo has resigned from his position, as announced by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi in Jakarta on Monday morning. “As of yesterday (Sunday, 26/7), we officially received a letter of resignation from the Bank Indonesia Governor addressed to the President. In accordance with the applicable mechanisms and laws, particularly the Bank Indonesia Law, the President has accepted the resignation of Mr Perry Warjiyo, accompanied by the highest gratitude and appreciation for his dedication over the past seven years,” said Prasetyo at the Bank Indonesia office, accompanied by other members of the BI Board of Governors.
