Bank Indonesia Announces Operational Schedule During Eid al-Fitr 2026

Bank Indonesia (BI) has announced arrangements for operational activities during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 period, scheduled from Wednesday, 18 March 2026 to Tuesday, 24 March 2026.

The establishment of these operational arrangements adheres to government regulations regarding national holidays and joint leave for 2026, and aims to ensure the availability of banking service infrastructure for the public.

“All Bank Indonesia operational activities will resume normal operations fully on Wednesday, 25 March 2026,” stated Ramdan Denny Prakoso, Executive Director of Bank Indonesia’s Communications Department, on Monday (9 March 2026).

The operational schedule for Bank Indonesia during the 2026 Eid period has been set as follows:

Bank Indonesia Real Time Gross Settlement (BI-RTGS), Bank Indonesia Scripless Securities Settlement System (BI-SSSS), and Bank Indonesia Electronic Trading Platform (BI-ETP) will not operate. All debit instruments in Zone 4 submitted on 17 March 2026 (H-1) will be processed on 25 March 2026.

Bank Indonesia Fast Payment (BI-FAST) services will continue operating at full capacity.

All cash service activities will be suspended.

All Rupiah monetary operations transactions will be suspended. All foreign currency monetary operations transactions will be suspended. The Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) will not be published. Non-USD/IDR reference rates will not be published. Bank Indonesia exchange rates will use the last working day rate as reference.

Indonesia Overnight Index Average (INDONIA), Compounded INDONIA, and INDONIA Index will not be published.
