Bank Holiday for Eid 2026: Check the Operational Schedules of BCA, BRI, BNI, and BSI
Several major banks in Indonesia are adjusting their services during the bank holiday for Eid 2026, which coincides with the collective leave for Nyepi, the Balinese New Year 1948, and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. The government has set the collective leave and national holiday period from 18 to 24 March 2026. During this timeframe, bank branch operations will not run fully normally but will be limited to certain specific locations. On the other hand, Bank Indonesia’s payment system services such as BI-RTGS, BI-SSSS, BI-ETP, and SKNBI will also be temporarily suspended. All these services will resume normal operations on 25 March 2026. However, certain services like clearing, RTGS, and foreign exchange transactions will face restrictions as they follow Bank Indonesia’s operational schedule. Here are the details of the operational schedules for BCA, BRI, BNI, and BSI that need to be known: Available services include non-financial transactions such as account opening, data changes, and card replacements. Meanwhile, financial transactions handled at tellers include deposits, withdrawals, and transfers via BI-FAST. The list of BCA branches open on 18 and 24 March 2026 across Indonesia can be read here. Available services include account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, card services, e-banking, and customer complaint handling. Types of transactions served include Pertamina fuel deposits, Bulog deposits, state revenue receipts, as well as inter-BNI account transactions with a maximum limit of Rp25 million per account per day. BNI also provides O-Branch (Mobile Unit) services at strategic locations to reach communities in areas without ATM or CRM access.
