Bank directors detained for graft

PALANGKA RAYA, Central Kalimantan: Three directors of the
state-owned bank Pembangunan Daerah in this provincial capital
have been detained for corruption.

The three, named as JS, president, CSD, marketing director and
ZE, general affairs director, are suspected of embezzling Rp 8
billion from the bank.

JS' dossier has been submitted to the district court and his
trial would start next Thursday, he said. (rms)
