Bank Danamon Posts Rp2.4 Trillion Net Profit in First Half of 2026

PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk. (BDMN) recorded a consolidated net profit after tax and non-controlling interests of Rp2.4 trillion in the first half of 2026, up 33% year-on-year compared with the same period last year.

“The net profit was driven by an increase in income and supported by improved credit quality, reflected in a 12% year-on-year decline in the cost of credit,” said Bank Danamon Chief Financial Officer Theresia Adriana Widjaja during a virtual performance presentation on Thursday (30/7/2026).

As of 30 June 2026, consolidated total loans and financing reached Rp230.1 trillion, growing 12% compared with the same period last year. The growth in lending was supported by all business lines, from enterprise banking and financial institutions, SME banking, consumer banking, to contributions from Danamon’s subsidiaries.

At the same time, the gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio improved to 1.7%, down 33 basis points compared with the same period last year.

On the funding side, Bank Danamon also recorded solid growth. Consolidated third-party funds, comprising current accounts, savings, time deposits and cash, reached Rp181.7 trillion, an increase of 14% year-on-year.

According to Theresia, this intermediation performance contributed to the improvement in the company’s profitability. In terms of profitability, Bank Danamon posted a consolidated net interest margin (NIM) of 8.1%.
