Bank Credit Growth Improves Supported by Investment Credit

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The flow of bank credit in March 2026 appeared more vibrant compared to the previous month. As a result, the year-on-year growth rate of outstanding credit improved, as did the comparison to the end of the previous year.

Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded that the banking industry’s credit in March grew 9.49% year-on-year, higher than the previous month’s 9.37% year-on-year growth. Credit also grew 0.83% when calculated from the end of 2025, after declining 0.32% in February.
