PT Bank Syariah Nasional (Bank BSN) continues to drive the strengthening of the Sharia economic ecosystem in the country. This is being pursued through the expansion of synergy within the Umrah pilgrimage sector by exploring collaborations with JARDY Travel Indonesia.

SEVP of Wealth & Customer Experience at Bank BSN, Sri Soekminiarni, stated that the company is constantly striving to provide services that are adaptive and closely aligned with the needs of both customers and the wider community.

“We welcome discussion spaces such as this because community needs are constantly evolving. Collaboration across ecosystems can open opportunities to provide service experiences that are increasingly easy, relevant, and provide added value for both customers and pilgrims, while certainly maintaining the principles of prudence, governance, and applicable regulations,” said Rini in Jakarta, Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

The exploration of this cooperation focuses on efforts to comprehensively integrate the Umrah ecosystem with Sharia banking services. Bank BSN is targeting the development of services that encompass not only basic payment transaction facilities but also the digitalisation of the customer journey, pilgrimage financial planning, and the continuous improvement of the customer experience for pilgrims.

Through this exploration, Bank BSN is investigating several potential areas of cooperation, ranging from integrated payment solutions for pilgrims and pre-departure financial planning to community-based services and Sharia financial literacy programmes.

Bank BSN believes that Sharia banking infrastructure plays a vital role in connecting various links in the Umrah economic chain. This ecosystem encompasses diverse sectors, including airlines, hotels, transportation, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The vision for developing this ecosystem received a positive response from JARDY Travel Indonesia. The management of JARDY, led by founders Dicky Taufik Gustiawan, Anriani, and Jeffry, alongside President Director H. Kuldip Singh and the board of commissioners, believes that collaboration with banking institutions can serve as an important foundation for the future development of the travel industry.

“When the strength of the travel industry can be connected with Sharia financial infrastructure, technology, and banking customer experience, there is an opportunity to create a pilgrimage experience that is increasingly easy, safe, and integrated. This is where JARDY’s philosophy, ‘One Journey, Growing Together’, is something we wish to implement in reality,” said Dicky Taufik Gustiawan, Founder & Visionary of JARDY.
