Bank BSN Partners with PP Muhammadiyah to Strengthen Sharia-Based Economic Ecosystem
PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN) has signed a cooperation agreement with the central board of Muhammadiyah (PP Muhammadiyah) in Jakarta on Friday (12/6/2026). The agreement marks BSN’s official move to tap into the economic potential of Muhammadiyah by providing integrated sharia banking services. This step represents a new chapter for both institutions in their efforts to tangibly promote the economic welfare of the community through more inclusive sharia financial services. Through the partnership, BSN is targeting the Muhammadiyah ecosystem from upstream to downstream. In the retail segment, members of the organisation will be facilitated with a special co-branding debit card directly connected to the Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Super Apps (MASA). The savings service will utilise the BSN Tabungan Berkah Wadiah product, which requires a low initial deposit of IDR 50,000 and is free of administrative fees.
