PT Bank Syariah Nasional (Bank BSN) is driving the penetration of digital Sharia banking into various major cities. One such effort involves the launch of the ‘Serbu Ekosistem’ Programme in Bandung, West Java.

The President Director of Bank BSN, Alex Sofjan Noor, stated that the company will continue its efforts to be present across various sectors and community ecosystems. This strategic move is designed to bring the company’s services closer to the business activities and daily needs of its customers.

“One of these efforts is through various ‘Serbu’ programmes, ranging from Serbu Resto, Serbo Kampus, Serbu Rumah Sakit, Serbu Mesjid, to Serbu Toko. Today in Bandung, we are continuing that spirit through the Serbu Ekosistem Programme,” said Alex in Bandung, as quoted from his statement on Friday, 11 September 2026.

He revealed that the trust customers place in Bank BSN is reflected in the company’s solid fundamental performance. As of 31 August 2026, Bank BSN’s assets reached Rp81.5 trillion, representing a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 20.75%. This impressive achievement further establishes Bank BSN as the second-largest Sharia bank in Indonesia.

In terms of digital transactions, the company’s ecosystem has shown massive growth. The ‘Bale by Syariah’ mobile banking platform has reached 238,897 users, recording 3.29 million transactions with a volume of approximately Rp6.57 trillion.

Meanwhile, the penetration of BSN’s QRIS services has been adopted by 2,102 merchants, with an accumulated transaction count of 2.07 million and a transaction volume exceeding Rp552.1 billion.

The launch of the Serbu Ekosistem Resto Programme in Bandung is also part of a series of events for National Customer Day. Reaffirming the company’s commitment to engaging directly in the field, the activity was held in person at the business premises of one of BSN’s customers and merchants, specifically the Saji Marem restaurant owned by Mr Wagiman.

Alex, who previously served as a Branch Manager in Bandung, utilised this moment not only to reminisce but also to directly absorb aspirations from partners.

“Today, I specifically want to listen more directly to the businessmen and women who are BSN’s partners and customers. What has been working well, what we still need to improve, and what needs can be further supported by BSN in the future,” he expressed.
