PT Bank Syariah Nasional (Bank BSN) held a mass mortgage signing for 6,000 units of its KPR Sejahtera product simultaneously at all national branch offices. The move is part of the company’s strategy to accelerate the distribution of subsidised housing finance whilst expanding access to home ownership for low-income communities.

The event was centred at Siba Garden Housing Estate, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, on Thursday (25/6/2026), and was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), BP Tapera, and several housing developer associations.

Bank BSN’s Director of Consumer Banking, Mochamad Yut Penta, stated that the mass signing is one of the company’s strategies to speed up the realisation of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) mortgage target this year. ‘In 2026, Bank BSN has again been entrusted by the government to distribute subsidised mortgages with a target of 73,700 FLPP units. The Semarak Akad Massal activity, such as the one held today, is an important strategy to accelerate the achievement of that target. This is a tangible manifestation of Bank BSN’s commitment to supporting government programmes, particularly in realising the Three Million Homes Programme,’ said Yut Penta.

Bank BSN recorded that it had distributed 28,000 FLPP units during the January to June 2026 period. Based on BP Tapera data as of 24 June 2026, Bank BSN’s subsidised mortgage market share reached 24.6 percent, an increase from 21.32 percent at the end of 2025. According to Yut Penta, the increase in market share reflects the high demand for subsidised housing and indicates that activity in the property sector continues to move.

‘This achievement shows a meaningful increase in economic activity in the property sector as well as high public interest in home ownership,’ he said. The mass signing involved customers from various professional backgrounds, including teachers, health workers, private sector employees, and micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) operators. Bank BSN aims for its subsidised housing finance to reach more workers in both the formal and informal sectors.

‘The prospective customers come from various professional backgrounds, both formal and informal sectors. We congratulate them and hope this home improves the quality of life for their families. We also remind them to maintain the property and fulfil their instalment obligations on time. Please also make use of the Bale Syariah Mobile Banking service to facilitate daily transactions and instalment payments,’ said Yut Penta. To maintain financing quality, Bank BSN is also optimising its Bale Syariah digital service, which allows customers to conduct various transactions, including real-time bill and mortgage payments. The company believes that utilising this digital service can help improve payment discipline whilst supporting healthier financing management.
