Bank BPD Bali Committed to Elevating MSMEs

Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Bali has achieved the Commendable Business Programme Award in the category of Regional Bank Driving Sustainable MSMEs at the detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026. The award was presented to BPD Bali in recognition of its consistency in assisting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to scale up their operations.

The trophy was received by Bank BPD Bali Business Director, I Nyoman Sumanaya, representing President Director I Nyoman Sudharma, during the awards ceremony at The Trans Resort Bali on Friday (3/7/2026). Sumanaya stated that BPD Bali will continue its efforts to serve as an engine for economic development in Bali.

“Moving forward, we remain focused on helping MSMEs to scale up and serve as a guide for Bali’s economic growth,” said Sumanaya.

It is noted that Bank BPD Bali’s realisation of KUR (People’s Business Credit) distribution in 2025 reached Rp 1.768 trillion, reaching 8,946 debtors throughout Bali. The service sector dominated the financing, accounting for 40.56 per cent of the total distribution.

Furthermore, Bank BPD Bali also prioritised KUR distribution in the production sector. The realisation reached Rp 1.081 trillion, representing 61.13 per cent of the total KUR distribution in 2025.
