Bank BPD Bali Committed to Elevating MSMEs

Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Bali has won the ‘Commendable Business Programme’ award for the ‘Regional Bank Driving Sustainable MSMEs’ category at the detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026. The award was given in recognition of the bank’s consistent efforts to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) advance. The trophy was received by Bank BPD Bali’s Business Director, I Nyoman Sumanaya, representing the President Director, I Nyoman Sudharma, at the awards ceremony held at The Trans Resort Bali on Friday (3/7/2026). Sumanaya stated that BPD Bali will continue to strive to be a driving force for economic development in Bali. ‘Going forward, we remain focused on helping MSMEs to level up and become a guiding principle for Bali’s economic growth development,’ Sumanaya said. It was noted that Bank BPD Bali’s KUR (People’s Business Credit) lending realisation in 2025 reached Rp 1.768 trillion, reaching 8,946 debtors across Bali. The services sector dominated the financing, accounting for 40.56 percent of the total distribution. Furthermore, Bank BPD Bali prioritised KUR distribution to the production sector, with realisation reaching Rp 1.081 trillion, or 61.13 percent of the total KUR distribution in 2025.
