Bank bjb Supports Acceleration of Liveable Housing Programme Through BSPS 2026, Ensuring Sustainable Synergy
Bank bjb has reaffirmed its commitment to building strategic synergies with various stakeholders to strengthen business performance while delivering broader benefits to the community. The bank has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Housing and Settlement Area Work Unit of West Java Province, the Housing and Settlement Area Provision Implementation Centre (BP3KP) of West Java II, and the Directorate General of Settlement Areas of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas of the Republic of Indonesia, to support the implementation of the 2026 Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) Programme. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement took place at Menara bank bjb on Tuesday (30/6), marking a shared commitment to supporting the government programme aimed at improving the quality of housing for low-income communities. The signing was attended by the Head of the Housing and Settlement Area Provision Implementation Centre (BP3KP) of West Java II, Mochamad Mulya Permana; the Head of the Housing and Settlement Area Work Unit of West Java Province, Praditya; along with several Commitment Making Officers and bank bjb’s Director of Consumer and Retail, Nunung Suhartini, and her team. As the distributing bank for the 2026 Fiscal Year BSPS, bank bjb has been entrusted to channel assistance to 35,000 beneficiaries in West Java Province, with a total aid value reaching Rp 700 billion, to be disbursed in stages throughout the 2026 Fiscal Year. This trust further underscores bank bjb’s strategic role as a government partner in ensuring aid is distributed in a targeted, transparent, and accountable manner. Since March 2026, bank bjb has commenced the disbursement of Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance from the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas through the Housing and Settlement Area Work Unit of West Java Province. As of the signing of this cooperation, bank bjb has facilitated the opening of 11,447 accounts with a total disbursement nominal reaching Rp 172.15 billion. The disbursement was carried out in stages, including Phase 1 with 1,981 accounts worth Rp 39.62 billion, Phases 2 and 3 with 5,905 accounts worth Rp 118.10 billion, Phase 4 with 275 accounts worth Rp 5.50 billion, and Phase 4.2 with 3,286 accounts worth Rp 65.73 billion. This achievement demonstrates bank bjb’s operational readiness in supporting the acceleration of the BSPS Programme realisation in West Java.
