Bank BJB Strengthens Synergy for Banten Regional Development
Bank BJB has emphasised its commitment to strengthening synergy in regional development in Banten Province through strategic collaboration with local government and various stakeholders.
The event held in South Tangerang forms part of Bank BJB’s active role as a Regional Development Bank (BPD) in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The meeting was attended by Banten Governor Andra Soni, Deputy Chairman of the Banten Provincial DPRD Yudi Budi Wibowo, and Deputy Chairman of the South Tangerang City DPRD Maria Teresa Suhardja. Also present were Acting President Director of Bank BJB Ayi Subarna, Director of Consumer and Retail Nunung Suhartini, bank executives, and Commissioner Representative for Bank Banten Rina Dewiyanti. Additionally, Bank Banten President Director Muhammad Busthami and Business Director Slamet Riyadi joined in a warm and friendly discussion atmosphere.
On this occasion, Bank BJB stressed that Banten’s continuously growing economic potential requires a solid and integrated financial ecosystem. Therefore, Bank BJB is opening wide opportunities for collaboration with all stakeholders, from provincial government, district/city governments, business actors, to regional financial institutions.
“Synergy is the key to accelerating regional development. Bank BJB is ready to play an active role as a strategic partner for the Banten regional government in providing adaptive, innovative financial solutions oriented towards community needs,” stated a bank director representative.
As fellow BPDs, Bank BJB also considers it important to strengthen collaboration among regional banking institutions within a framework of mutual complementarity. This effort is carried out while upholding principles of professionalism, good governance, and respecting the strategic partnerships that have been established in each institution.
The collaboration is directed towards strengthening priority sectors, such as SME financing, regional infrastructure development, financial service digitalisation, and increasing public financial inclusion. Bank BJB is also continuing to promote digital-based service innovations to enhance efficiency and ease of access for customers in the Banten region.
In addition, Bank BJB is committed to supporting various regional government programmes focused on improving community welfare, including regional financial management, productive credit distribution, and local economic empowerment.
