As part of this commitment, bank bjb held the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia at Menara bank bjb, Bandung, on Friday, 10 July 2026. The MoU was signed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, Dr. Cris Kuntadi, S.E., M.M., together with bank bjb President Director Ayi Subarna, and witnessed by leadership from both the Ministry of Manpower and bank bjb. This signing marks the initial step in a synergy focused on increasing the competency capacity of human resources in the employment sector, as well as the provision and utilisation of banking services. The collaboration embodies a shared vision between the two parties to deliver services that provide tangible benefits to the public, the world of work, and the development of the national employment sector. bank bjb believes that the quality of human resources is a key factor in driving industrial productivity, business activity, and accelerating economic growth. Through this MoU, both parties agree to build a mutually beneficial cooperation in accordance with their respective authorities. The scope of cooperation includes capacity building and human resource competency development based on each party’s internal regulations. Furthermore, the cooperation covers the provision and utilisation of various banking services and products that can support operational needs and services to stakeholders. The utilisation of facilities and infrastructure in accordance with internal provisions is also part of the agreed scope of collaboration. As a follow-up to the MoU, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Directorate General of Industrial Relations and Labour Social Security Development and bank bjb. This agreement regulates the provision of retail credit facilities, collection assistance, and collective payment of credit instalments. The implementation of this cooperation is expected to deliver financial services that are more effective, efficient, and easily accessible.
