Digitalisation has become a primary necessity in government management, including at the regional level, which is increasingly required to adapt to technological advancements. In this context, Bank bjb has affirmed its commitment to strengthening regional digitalisation as the main foundation in driving improvements in public service quality and the efficiency of regional financial management.

This commitment was emphasised through Bank bjb’s participation in the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) on Regional Revenue for 2026, organised by the Directorate General of Regional Financial Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia on 16 April 2026 in Jakarta. This event serves as a strategic forum to strengthen synergy between the central government, regional governments, and the banking sector.

Attending the event were the Director of Regional Revenue of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Teguh Narutomo; the Director of Regional Taxes and Levies of the Ministry of Finance, Lira Kurniawati; the Director General of Regional Financial Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs, A Fathoni; the Director of Business and Acting President Director of PT Penjamin Infrastruktur Indonesia, Andre Permana; the President Director of PT Jasa Raharja, Muhammad Awaludin; the Operations Director of PT Jasa Raharja, Ariyandi; the Head of the Institutional & Wholesale Banking Division of Bank bjb, Hindun Herdiyani; and the Head of the Digital Banking Division of Bank bjb, Arfandy.

In the forum, digitalisation is viewed as a key factor in accelerating government services while enhancing transparency and accountability in regional financial management. As a Regional Development Bank, Bank bjb has taken an active role in strengthening the digitalisation ecosystem, particularly in managing Original Regional Revenue (PAD). These efforts are carried out through the development of various integrated digital-based financial service solutions.

Optimising PAD is one of the important pillars in strengthening regional fiscal capacity, thereby allowing regional governments greater scope to finance development. Through a digitalised system, regional governments can improve recording accuracy, accelerate administrative processes, and minimise potential revenue leakages.

On that occasion, Bank bjb also shared experiences regarding collaborations, partnerships, and innovations that have been implemented to support PAD increases in various regions. These experiences include the implementation of PAD revenue digitalisation solutions for provincial, regency, and city governments that have partnered with Bank bjb.
