bank bjb has reaffirmed its commitment as a regional development partner through the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding with PT Trans Galaxy Orbit Indonesia (Whuush Ojol), the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), and PT Migas Utama Jabar (MUJ). These three collaborations form part of bank bjb’s concrete steps to expand business collaboration whilst delivering relevant financial solutions for various business sectors in West Java. The signing ceremony took place at bank bjb’s Head Office as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen an integrated regional economic ecosystem linking the banking sector, the business world, the digital economy, and strategic industries. Representing bank bjb were President Director Ayi Subarna, Corporate and SME Director Yana Mulyana, and Consumer and Retail Director Nunung Suhartini, along with their staff. The first synergy was established with PT Trans Galaxy Orbit Indonesia, known as Whuush Ojol, an app-based transportation and delivery service provider that currently accommodates approximately 71,000 registered driver partners. The cooperation includes the utilisation of banking products and services, management of driver partner accounts for payroll service needs, use of bank bjb’s Digi Cash digital wallet service, and integration of the Whuush Ojol application system with bank bjb’s banking system. This collaboration also opens opportunities to increase digital transaction volumes, benefiting both parties. For driver partners, the partnership provides easier access to formal financial services that are safer, faster, and more efficient through bank bjb’s digital infrastructure support. The second collaboration, with KADIN West Java, focuses on service assistance in business and investment development in West Java, as well as the utilisation of banking products and services. Through this partnership, bank bjb and KADIN West Java will jointly encourage increased capacity of business actors through business development education and literacy programmes, as well as education on banking products and services. This step is part of efforts to create more resilient and adaptive business actors with broader access to formal financial services. In addition to education and literacy, the scope of cooperation also includes fund placement, current account services, savings, deposits, Financial Institution Pension Funds, business financing, and various banking transaction facilities that can support the business activities of KADIN West Java members. bank bjb will also support the provision of productive credit facilities to business actors who meet the applicable terms and conditions, thereby strengthening business capacity and accelerating business expansion. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in West Java whilst enhancing the competitiveness of local business actors at national and regional levels. Meanwhile, the third cooperation was established with PT Migas Utama Jabar, a strategic company owned by the West Java Provincial Government operating in the energy and oil and gas sector, focusing on the utilisation of banking products and services to support the sustainable business development of both institutions. The scope of cooperation includes fund management through current accounts, savings, deposits, Financial Institution Pension Funds, financing facilities, financial transaction services, salary and allowance payment services, as well as various other payment and receipt facilities. Through this cooperation, bank bjb provides financial support that can help MUJ manage its business operations more effectively, efficiently, and in an integrated manner.
