Bank BJB partners with three strategic allies to support West Java's economy
Bandung (ANTARA) - Bank BJB has partnered with three strategic allies—PT Trans Galaxy Orbit Indonesia (Whuush Ojol), the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), and PT Migas Utama Jabar (MUJ)—in an effort to strengthen business collaboration and support the development of the economic ecosystem in West Java.
Bank BJB President Director Ayi Subarna stated that the collaboration represents the bank’s commitment as a strategic partner for regional development through the provision of financial services that support various business sectors.
‘The collaboration reflects Bank BJB’s role not only as a financial intermediary institution but also as a catalyst for economic growth, capable of bridging the needs of various business actors through comprehensive banking services,’ Ayi said in Bandung on Wednesday.
Through this cooperation, Ayi noted, Bank BJB is delivering a range of services, from financing access and fund management to transaction services, payment digitalisation, and financial education and literacy for partners.
The partnership with PT Trans Galaxy Orbit Indonesia (Whuush Ojol) includes the utilisation of banking products and services, management of driver partner accounts for payroll services, use of the DigiCash digital wallet, and integration of the Whuush Ojol application system with Bank BJB’s banking system.
‘Through this collaboration, approximately 71,000 Whuush Ojol driver partners are expected to gain easier access to formal financial services while encouraging an increase in digital transactions,’ Ayi said.
Meanwhile, the cooperation with Kadin West Java is focused on developing the business and investment world through business education, financial literacy, and the utilisation of banking products and services.
In addition to educational programmes, the partnership also covers current accounts, savings, deposits, Financial Institution Pension Funds (DPLK), business financing, and various banking transaction facilities for Kadin West Java members.
Bank BJB is also opening opportunities to provide productive credit facilities to business actors who meet the requirements to support business development and expansion.
The cooperation with PT Migas Utama Jabar (MUJ) is directed at utilising banking services to support the company’s operations, including fund management, financing facilities, financial transaction services, salary and allowance payments, and various other payment services.
Bank BJB assesses that the three partnerships demonstrate its ability to deliver banking solutions tailored to the needs of various sectors, ranging from the digital economy and the business world to the energy industry.
‘As a regional development bank, Bank BJB stated it will continue to expand collaboration with various stakeholders to drive inclusive and sustainable economic growth in West Java,’ he said.
