Bank bjb Distributes Rp700 Billion in Self-Help Housing Stimulus Aid in West Java

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank bjb is supporting the implementation of the 2026 Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) Programme in West Java, with total assistance reaching IDR 700 billion for 35,000 recipients.

The distribution of this assistance is being carried out through cooperation with the West Java Provincial Housing and Settlement Area Working Unit, the West Java Housing and Settlement Area Provision Implementation Office, and the Directorate General of Settlement Areas under the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas.

“This trust further reinforces the strategic role of bank bjb as a government partner in ensuring that assistance is distributed accurately, transparently, and accountably,” said bank bjb Corporate Secretary Irwan Riswandi in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Since March 2026, bank bjb has commenced the distribution of the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance from the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas via the West Java Provincial Housing and Settlement Area Working Unit.

He stated that bank bjb has facilitated the opening of 11,447 accounts, with the total distributed amount reaching IDR 172.15 billion.

The distribution has been conducted in stages, including Stage 1 involving 1,981 accounts worth IDR 39.62 billion, Stages 2 and 3 involving 5,905 accounts worth IDR 118.10 billion, Stage 4 involving 275 accounts worth IDR 5.50 billion, and Stage 4.2 involving 3,286 accounts worth IDR 65.73 billion.

According to him, bank bjb also signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Tuesday (30/6) as a follow-up to the division of the 2026 BSPS Programme implementation into four working areas under the Commitment Making Officer (PPK).

In addition to an addendum to the existing cooperation agreement, three new cooperation agreements were signed between bank bjb and PPK 2, PPK 3, and PPK 4 to serve as the legal basis for the distribution of assistance in each respective working area.

In its implementation, bank bjb is collaborating with all PPK for Self-Help Housing and Settlement Area Development, ensuring that every region has a distribution mechanism integrated through bank bjb’s banking service system.

This scheme is expected to enhance the effectiveness of the assistance distribution while strengthening the governance, transparency, and accountability of government budget usage.
