Bank bjb Distributes Rp700 Billion in Self-Help Housing Stimulus Aid in West Java

Bank bjb is supporting the implementation of the 2026 Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance Programme (BSPS) in West Java, with a total aid value reaching Rp700 billion for 35,000 recipients. The distribution of the aid is carried out through cooperation with the West Java Province Housing and Settlement Area Task Force, the West Java II Housing and Settlement Area Provision Implementation Centre, and the Directorate General of Settlement Areas of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement. “This trust further underscores bank bjb’s strategic role as a government partner in ensuring aid is distributed in a targeted, transparent, and accountable manner,” said bank bjb Corporate Secretary Irwan Riswandi in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. Since March 2026, bank bjb has commenced the distribution of the Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance from the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas through the West Java Province Housing and Settlement Area Task Force. He stated that bank bjb has facilitated the opening of 11,447 accounts with a total distribution nominal of Rp172.15 billion. The distribution is carried out in stages, including Phase 1 with 1,981 accounts worth Rp39.62 billion, Phases 2 and 3 with 5,905 accounts worth Rp118.10 billion, Phase 4 with 275 accounts worth Rp5.50 billion, and Phase 4.2 with 3,286 accounts worth Rp65.73 billion. According to him, bank bjb also signed a Cooperation Agreement on Tuesday (30/6) as a follow-up to the division of the 2026 BSPS Programme implementation into four working areas of the Commitment Making Officer (PPK). In addition to an addendum to the existing cooperation agreement, three new cooperation agreements were signed between bank bjb and PPK 2, PPK 3, and PPK 4 as the legal basis for aid distribution in each working area. In its implementation, bank bjb cooperates with all PPKs for Self-Help Housing and Settlement Area Development, so that each region has an integrated distribution mechanism through the bank bjb service system. The scheme is expected to increase the effectiveness of aid distribution while strengthening governance, transparency, and accountability in the use of the government budget.
