Head of Bank Banten's Serang Sub-Branch Office, M. Nofrianto, stated that in accordance with directives from the Board of Directors and Management to support the Banten Provincial Government's programme, the Serang area office stands ready to serve the public and ensure the programme's success.

"We are always ready to provide the best service to the community, including for Motor Vehicle Tax payments. In the Serang City and Regency area, there are a total of 11 service network points comprising one branch office, two sub-branch offices, six Samsat counters, and two Samsat technical implementation units," he said.

The initiative and collaboration between Bank Banten and the Banten Provincial Government represents tangible evidence of the bank's support for the community and local government.

The Banten Provincial Government has issued a policy eliminating Motor Vehicle Tax arrears from 2024 and earlier years. This policy is set out in Banten Governor's Decree Number 170 of 2025 concerning the Exemption of Principal and/or Motor Vehicle Tax Penalties, issued on 27 March 2025.

Banten Governor Andra Soni, speaking on a separate occasion, announced that the motor vehicle tax principal and/or penalty exemption programme will run from 10 April to 30 June 2025. He urged all Banten residents to take full advantage of this policy.

With full support from Bank Banten, the motor vehicle tax arrears elimination programme is expected to run optimally and deliver significant benefits to the people of Banten Province.
