Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Director of PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk, Koko Rachmadi, said that Bank Aladin Syariah has prepared a number of strategies to maintain asset quality. One of them is by applying the prudential principle.

As is known, this principle is one of the guidelines for banks in carrying out business activities, raising and distributing funds so that they remain safe and sound in the era of digitalisation.

In addition, the company also remains committed to implementing sharia principles, and strengthening governance and risk management.

“These are the things that Bank Aladin Syariah will always sharpen, discuss, and evaluate, so that we are not just chasing revenue or income, but we can find a sustainable business model going forward, a business model that truly fits our organisation, and a business model that is truly suitable for the infrastructure we already have,” he said at the Power Lunch and Digital Bank Forum 2026, Thursday (13/8/2026).

Koko explained that this strategy is being carried out because it adapts to customer needs that have shifted significantly. According to him, some customers have changed their lifestyles due to demands, while the rest have changed because they were “forced” to.

Furthermore, Koko said this is also driven by digitalisation in Indonesia, which has experienced accelerated momentum forcing the public to change, especially during the 2019-2021 COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, Koko emphasised that Aladin Syariah is always ready to provide financial solutions that will become a relevant part of solutions in customers’ daily lives.

“So our benchmark, our formula, is how digitalisation can create not only efficiency but also convenience for customers to access services, not only traditional services, but also services that have become daily necessities,” Koko stressed.

He asserted that whatever customer needs are related to financial services must be supported digitally, while of course paying attention to security, risk management, customer data privacy, and comfort.
