President Director of PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk, Koko Tjatur Rachmadi, announced that the bank received the Best Sharia Digital Banking award at the Anugerah Syariah Republika (ASR) 2026. He expressed congratulations and appreciation to Republika for organising the event. “We believe there are three things we must ensure: first, we must remain optimistic; second, we must remain vigilant; and third, we must collaborate,” Koko told Republika at the ASR 2026 event on Wednesday (1/7/2026). Koko emphasised that with collaboration among Islamic economy stakeholders in Indonesia, the sharia economy will become more advanced and leading. Republika held ASR 2026 to appreciate industry players, institutions, and figures deemed successful in driving the growth of the national sharia economy. Carrying the theme “Sharia for All: Beyond Profit, Toward Purpose”, this year’s awards affirmed that the sharia economy is not only oriented towards business growth but also provides broader benefits to society. Republika’s Editor-in-Chief, Andi Muhyiddin, stated that the theme was chosen to emphasise that sharia principles prioritise a balance between business success and social responsibility, sustainability, and public welfare. Through the Anugerah Syariah Republika, Republika aims to appreciate institutions and individuals who not only record superior performance but also present innovation, expand inclusion, and make real contributions to the development of Indonesia’s sharia economic ecosystem. The judging process for the 2026 Anugerah Syariah Republika was supported by an Independent Jury Team from Karim Consulting Indonesia. In addition, as part of efforts to involve the public, ASR 2026 again featured the Reader’s Choice award. The polling, which ran from 15 May to 15 June 2026 through Republika.co.id and Republika’s social media, collected 27,414 votes, an increase from the previous year.
