JAKARTA — PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk (BANK) has strengthened its strategic collaboration with Alfamart through support for the Free Warteg Ramadan 2026 programme.

The participation forms part of the ongoing commitment of both companies to deliver social impact for society, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Free Warteg programme is an annual initiative by Alfamart since 2021. Through 2025, the programme has distributed more than 150,000 meal packages whilst involving hundreds of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) warteg operators across various regions.

The initiative has also received recognition from the Indonesian Museum of World Records (MURI) as the presentation of breaking-fast packages by the largest number of food stalls.

As a strategic partner, Bank Aladin Syariah is actively involved in various social initiatives that reach communities directly, whilst also providing accessible and inclusive digital banking services.

Bank Aladin Syariah’s support for this year’s Ramadan began with participation in the Free Warteg Kick-Off event held at Alfamart DT Alam Sutera store in Tangerang.

Koko Rachmadi, President Director of Bank Aladin Syariah, affirmed that support for Free Warteg is part of the company’s commitment to delivering impactful and sustainable social activities.

“As a digital Islamic bank, we believe that business growth must run hand in hand with growth in benefits. Our collaboration with Alfamart in Free Warteg exemplifies how a strong ecosystem can deliver broader impact. We want to ensure that Bank Aladin Syariah’s presence is felt not only through digital services, but also through tangible contributions that touch communities directly, particularly in the holy month of Ramadan,” Koko said in a press release on Friday (27 February 2026).

He added that synergy within the Alfa Group ecosystem forms an important foundation in creating sustainable shared value.

Meanwhile, Solihin, Corporate Affairs Director of Alfamart, stated that Free Warteg is part of the company’s sustained social commitment. He expressed appreciation for Bank Aladin Syariah’s consistent support in the programme.

“We also extend our highest appreciation to Aladin for the support and collaboration provided in making this programme successful. The support given is not merely a contribution, but a tangible expression of the collaborative spirit in building a sustainable ecosystem of goodwill,” he said.

According to Solihin, the synergy with Bank Aladin Syariah strengthens the message that Free Warteg is not merely about sharing food, but about delivering hope and expanding benefits for communities in need.
