Banjarmasin Embarkation Prepares to Depart Hajj Candidates from Central Kalimantan Cluster 06
Banjarmasin (ANTARA) - The Banjarmasin Embarkation in South Kalimantan is ready to dispatch the prospective Hajj pilgrims (JCH) of Flying Group (Cluster) 06 from Central Kalimantan Province, who are now at the Hajj Dormitory of the Banjarmasin Embarkation in Banjarbaru City, for the Hajj season of 1447 H/2026 AD.
The Head of the Hajj Organising Officers (PPIH) for Banjarmasin Embarkation, H Eddy Khairani, in Banjarbaru on Friday, stated that the JCH of Cluster 06 entered the Hajj dormitory today around 06:00 WITA and will be departed on Saturday (2/5) around 04:20 WITA.
According to him, the departure of the JCH of Cluster 06, originating from a combination of several districts in Central Kalimantan, namely East Kotawaringin Regency, Seruyan, Kapuas, Lamandau, and Pulang Pisau, from Syamsuddin Noor Airport in Banjarmasin to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, totals 360 people.
“Currently, JCH from five clusters of the Banjarmasin Embarkation are already in Madinah, namely 1,797 people,” he said.
Before the departure of this JCH Cluster 06, Eddy, who also serves as the Head of the South Kalimantan Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, gathered the Hajj officers for Cluster 06 to emphasise the importance of strengthening team cooperation to provide the best service to the pilgrims.
“The main key to successful Hajj service is synergy and compactness among officers. Everyone must support each other and move as one team,” said Eddy Khairani.
“In Madinah, it cannot be guaranteed that pilgrims from one cluster will stay in one hotel. Therefore, from disembarking the plane to boarding the bus, the pilgrims must already be arranged in intact groups. Do not let them get separated,” he said.
According to him, neat group arrangements from the airport will facilitate coordination during their time in the Holy Land, while minimising the potential for confusion or loss of pilgrims.
“We want that when the pilgrims disembark from the plane, their groups are already clear. From the beginning, it must be orderly, do not let anyone get left behind,” he said.
In addition, Eddy also reminded the officers to always pay attention to and comply with the latest regulations from the Saudi Arabian Government, especially regarding the implementation of worship in Raudhah and pilgrimage activities.
“Officers must stay updated with the latest policies. Educate the pilgrims to understand the procedures for entering Raudhah as well as during pilgrimages, so that everything runs orderly and smoothly,” he said.
