Bangli, Bali — The Bangli Regency Government in Bali has provided free medical treatment to the community to mark the celebration of the sacred day of Tumpek Krulut, which embodies the Balinese concept of compassion. “Let us use Tumpek Krulut as a momentum to strengthen brotherhood, mutual care, and the maintenance of health for ourselves, our families, and our environment,” said the Regent of Bangli, Sang Nyoman Sedana Arta, in Bangli on Saturday.

The free medical services were conducted simultaneously across four districts in Bangli Regency, specifically in Kedisan Village for the Kintamani district, Selati Village for the Bangli district, Kebon and Sulahan Traditional Villages for the Susut district, and Banjar Tembuku Kaja in Tembuku Village for the Tembuku district.

The Regent explained that these health services are an implementation of the Governor of Bali’s decree dated 29 July regarding free healthcare services for Tumpek Krulut. The decree emphasises that the sacred day of Tumpek Krulut carries the meaning of honouring humanity with full love and compassion.

Meanwhile, numerous residents at the target locations welcomed the free medical treatment, using the opportunity to undergo health screenings and receive consultations free of charge. Residents queued orderly to register and be served by medical personnel from the nearest community health centres (Puskesmas).

The Regent expressed his appreciation to the Bali Provincial Government, healthcare workers, district governments, village governments, and all parties that collaborated to execute the free medical programme. Beyond being a social action, the spirit of togetherness built through the celebration of Rahina Tumpek Krulut serves to strengthen the commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive public services oriented towards community welfare.
