Bangka Belitung marching parade upholds spirit of struggle and peace

The Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands held a marching parade involving 108 student teams in Pangkalpinang on Wednesday (26/8) to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands Hidayat Arsani said the activity was a momentum to maintain the spirit of struggle, togetherness and peace within society. The parade also drew enthusiastic public participation, with crowds lining the entire route to watch the participants’ performances.
