Banggar DPR: President Delivers the KEM-PPKF 2027 to Address Market Doubts

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Said Abdullah, chairman of the Budgetary Board (Banggar) of the DPR RI, said that the speech on the Macro-Economic Framework and Core Policies of Fiscal Policy (KEM-PPKF) delivered directly by President Prabowo Subianto would answer market doubts.

‘Whether this is a new tradition or not, it seems the President appearing in person at a plenary session carries significance, firstly to address market doubts about liquidity, stability, capability, health, and the continuity of our fiscal stance,’ he said at the Parliament complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

He added,‘Perhaps those doubts will be answered comprehensively and will be responded to by the President at this plenary session.’

In addition, Said noted the President would also respond to the current economic uncertainties that are not detached from geopolitical pressures and the global situation.

‘Of course, because this is the KEM-PPKF, we await the President’s directives, the President’s vision, and how fiscal management will be conducted in 2027,’ he said.

The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) held Plenary Session No. 19 of the DPR RI for the Fifth Session Year 2025-2026, which was attended directly by President Prabowo.

According to the agenda from the DPR RI, the plenary meeting would begin at 10.00 WIB. The agenda to be filled by President Prabowo is the delivery of the KEM-PPKF for the 2027 Fiscal Year.

In addition to the President’s submission of the KEM-PPKF, the plenary session also had on its agenda a report by the Legislation Body (Badan Legislasi) of DPR RI on the evaluation of changes to the second Prolegnas Priority RUU for 2026, followed by a decision.

Then, the agenda for the submission of the opinions of the factions on the Bill proposed under Iniciative of Commission III on Amendments to Law No. 2 of 2002 on the Indonesian National Police, followed by a decision to become a DPR RI-proposed Bill.
