Bang! BNI Distributes Dividend of Rp 13 Trillion from 2025 Financial Year Profit
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) will distribute dividends totalling 65% of net profit for the 2025 financial year, or Rp 13.03 trillion.
“The dividend for the 2025 financial year is paid proportionally to each shareholder whose name is recorded in the shareholder register on the recording date,” said Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena, Director of Finance & Strategy at BNI, during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) on Monday (9 March 2026).
The RUPST also decided that the board of directors is granted authority to determine the schedule and procedures for dividend distribution in accordance with applicable regulations, perform dividend tax withholding in accordance with applicable tax regulations, and establish other technical matters related to dividend payments.
Meanwhile, 35% of net profit, or approximately Rp 7.01 trillion, will be allocated as retained earnings to support business development and capital strengthening of the company.
BNI reported net profit valued at Rp 20.04 trillion throughout 2025. This figure declined 6.63% compared to 2024 when BNI’s net profit was recorded at Rp 21.46 trillion.
From the revenue perspective, BNI’s net interest income was recorded as relatively stable at Rp 40.33 trillion throughout 2025, compared to Rp 40.48 trillion the previous year.
It is noted that BNI’s interest income last year increased 4.22% to Rp 69.39 trillion; however, at the same time, interest expense surged 11.33% to Rp 29.06 trillion. The high interest expense was partly due to the rise in cost of funds amid a high-interest-rate macroeconomic environment.
