The Acting Head of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java and Banten, Gina Indriani, emphasised that the public relations division within higher education plays a highly strategic role. Public relations is tasked with building public trust and conveying academic achievements accurately, inspirationally, and with a tangible impact on the wider community. UTB Rector, Dr. Muchammad Naseer, stated that the award is the result of collaboration from the entire academic community in realising excellent campus governance. The university is committed to continuing to make social media a credible space for information dissemination while showcasing the campus’s real contributions. “We view public communication as an inseparable part of building excellent and impactful higher education governance. Through social media, we aim to present credible, inspirational information and showcase UTB’s real contributions to society. The spirit of ‘Diktisaintek Berdampak’ is our foundation for continuously delivering communication that creates value,” said Muchammad Naseer in a statement on Thursday (16/7). In recent years, UTB, through its Directorate of Public Relations, Media, and Promotion, has actively adopted storytelling approaches, digital trends, and data-based content. This strategy is applied to package information regarding achievements, research, innovation, and community service to be more interactive and relevant to UTB’s identity as a Socio-Creativepreneur University. The Director of Public Relations, Media, and Promotion at UTB, Reni Anggraeni Rosidin, added that this digital transformation is focused on answering public needs. Going forward, UTB’s public relations team will continue to improve the quality of information services to expand collaboration networks at both national and international levels. “Social media today is not only a means of publication but also a space to build relationships, trust, and collaboration with the community. In the future, we will continue to strengthen an adaptive, collaborative, and data-based digital communication strategy so that every piece of information conveyed can provide tangible benefits,” said Reni.
