Bandung RSHS Nurse Reported to Police Over Attempted Kidnapping and Human Trafficking

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG – Nina Saleha (27 years old), the mother of the baby nearly swapped at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung, reported nurse N, who is suspected of causing her baby to nearly be swapped. The report was made regarding allegations of attempted kidnapping. Mira Widyawati, legal representative of Nina Saleha, stated that the complaint was filed with the West Java Regional Police after receiving a response from the hospital that differed from her client’s experience. “So yesterday, Mrs Nina Solehah intended to report the suspect nurse N, and we first communicated and consulted with the PPA Directorate of the West Java Police, who recommended directly filing a police report,” she said on Friday (17/4/2026). She explained that the complaint submitted to the police pertains to Articles 450 and 452 of the Criminal Code regarding attempted kidnapping. Additionally, the case could develop into the criminal offence of human trafficking. “Yes, (the report against the individual) will then be developed to see what parties the investigators will summon, including opening the CCTV. We really want the CCTV to be opened so there is no controversy,” she said. Her side suspects intentional elements in the case of her client’s swapped baby. Nina Saleha, the mother of the baby, wants the investigation to continue. Because she wants to get to the truth. “I just want all the people I mentioned yesterday—the nurse, the security guard—to be present and check the CCTV. That’s all. See the truth,” she said.
