BANDUNG — Good news for part-time government contract workers (Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja/P3K Paruh Waktu). Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna has confirmed that part-time contract workers in Bandung Regency will soon receive their Eid al-Fitr holiday allowance (Tunjangan Hari Raya/THR) for 2026.

The Bandung Regency Government has allocated IDR 12 billion to pay the holiday allowance to 7,550 part-time contract workers in the regency.

These workers comprise part-time contract teachers and education support staff totalling 4,320 personnel, broken down into 2,379 teachers and 1,941 support staff. The remainder are part-time contract workers outside the education sector.

“Alhamdulillah I have already signed the approval for the disbursement of holiday allowances for part-time contract workers in Bandung Regency, numbering 7,550 people. God willing, their allowances will be distributed shortly,” said Regent Dadang Supriatna in a statement on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

This confirmation was conveyed directly by the top official in Bandung Regency following a special coordination meeting on preparations for securing the Eid al-Fitr 2026 celebrations at the Moch Toha Building, Bandung Regency Government Complex, on Saturday (7 March 2026).

“The Head of BKAD just brought the documentation. I signed it immediately. The value is IDR 12 billion,” said Kang DS, the affectionate nickname for Regent Dadang Supriatna.

Kang DS emphasised that the provision of holiday allowances for part-time contract workers represents the local government’s attention to and commitment towards these part-time contract workers who have been contributing to public service delivery within the Bandung Regency Government.

Their recruitment represents the implementation of central government policy through the Ministerial Decree of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number 16 of 2025, which regulates the status change of honorary workers to part-time contract workers.

He did not provide specific details on when the allowance would be disbursed. However, the local government hopes the allowance can be distributed as soon as possible before Eid. “In any case, we will pay it as soon as possible,” he said.

Previously, Bandung Regent had also assured that salaries for part-time contract workers would be distributed shortly. The local government has prepared at least three budget source schemes to cover salary payments for part-time contract workers in Bandung Regency.
