Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna has called on newly inaugurated officials to uphold integrity, professionalism, and accelerate their performance. The swearing-in ceremony for High Leadership Officials within the Bandung Regency Government took place at the Regent’s official residence on Wednesday (10/6/2026).

According to the Regent, familiarly known as KDS, the inauguration is part of the dynamics and needs of the government organisation to improve public service quality. He stressed that the positions are a mandate and a trust that must be carried out with full responsibility.

“On behalf of myself and the Bandung Regency Government, I congratulate the officials inaugurated today. This inauguration is a normal process within the bureaucracy. The position you hold is both a mandate and a trust,” said KDS.

He urged the newly appointed officials to maintain integrity, uphold governmental ethics, work professionally, and avoid any actions that could damage public trust. “Dedicate yourselves to the people of Bandung Regency,” he stated.

KDS also requested that the officials adapt to their new duties immediately. He noted that the public holds high expectations for the government apparatus’s performance, leaving no room for delay. “I hope you can adapt to your new duties today. Do not take too long to adapt because the community is waiting for the results of our work,” he said.

The Regent reminded them of the need to change the bureaucratic mindset to be more responsive to public needs. He instructed all government ranks to eliminate convoluted bureaucratic practices and prioritise supportive, accountable, and transparent service principles. “Show leadership that can inspire, provide solutions, and bring positive change in your respective places,” he added.

Four high-ranking officials were inaugurated during the ceremony: Enjang Wahyudin, previously Head of the Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (Disperkimtan), was appointed Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM); Tatang Kusnawan, previously Head of BKPSDM, became Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda); Wahyudin, previously Chief Executive of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), became Head of Disperkimtan; and Erwan Kusuma Hermawan, previously Head of Bapenda, became Regional Inspector of Bandung Regency.

Through this inauguration, KDS expressed hope that the officials entrusted with new mandates would strengthen the performance of regional apparatuses and promote effective, clean, and public service-oriented governance to support the accelerated development of a ‘More Bedas’ (Better) Bandung Regency.
