Bandung Regent Bans Civil Servants from Using Official Vehicles for Eid Holiday Travel
Bandung, West Java — Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna has prohibited State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees working within Bandung District Government from using official vehicles for Eid holiday travel purposes in 2026 or Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah.
Speaking in Bandung on Wednesday, Regent Dadang stated that official vehicles are designated exclusively for government operational needs and therefore cannot be used for personal purposes, including holiday travel.
“Those travelling home for Eid should use their own private vehicles. Civil servants are not permitted to use official vehicles,” he said.
According to the regent, the local government has, in coordination with security forces, prepared various strategies to manage the Eid holiday travel flows safely and smoothly.
“Coordination involves elements of the local government, police, military, district heads, village chiefs, and relevant regional agencies,” he added.
On this occasion, Regent Dadang urged all parties to cooperate in ensuring security and public services remain maintained throughout the Eid travel period and return journey.
“Although it is a public holiday, we as public servants must remain ready to provide services to the community,” said Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna.
