The city of Bandung is hosting the BYD Tech Culture Fest 2026, an event aimed at bringing future mobility technology closer to the public through a blend of innovation, lifestyle, and community experience. Held at the 23 Paskal Shopping Center from 15 July 2026, the festival features interactive activities including test drives of the latest BYD M6 and Denza D9 models, a Monster Track Offroad experience, a Speed Test Ride for the upcoming BYD Seal 6 DM, and various family-friendly and culinary zones.

Deputy Mayor of Bandung, Erwin, welcomed the initiative, stating that the city’s residents are open to technological advancements, particularly eco-friendly vehicles. He noted that adopting new vehicle technology is one solution to reduce carbon emissions, given the high volume of motor vehicles in Bandung.

Nathan Sun, Operation Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, said Bandung was chosen due to the high enthusiasm for electric vehicles in the area. He emphasised that the festival allows the public not just to see, but to directly experience BYD’s technology. The event also highlights BYD’s Dual Mode (DM) technology, which combines electric and petrol power to optimise efficiency and driving comfort.

Since entering the Indonesian market in 2024, BYD has delivered approximately 97,000 vehicles nationwide, with over 10,500 units operating in West Java alone. The company continues to expand its dealer network to support after-sales service.
