Bandung Raya Ojol Drivers Receive Safety Riding Pocket Books to Reduce Accidents
Hundreds of online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers from various communities were provided with safety riding pocket books by the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the West Java Regional Police on Thursday (18/6/2026). They also received public speaking training to provide a sense of safety and comfort to passengers.
Ojol representative Ian (46), along with other drivers, acknowledged that the synergy with the West Java Police Traffic Directorate and its ranks had a positive impact. He said the ojol drivers were given a great deal of material on road safety.
“Alhamdulillah, we have been given a pocket book (safety riding). The book is to be carried at all times when transporting customers and its contents on traffic safety and order are to be understood,” he said on Thursday (18/6/2026).
He said the ojol drivers were provided with extensive education on traffic safety. In addition, the drivers were equipped with the skills to report accidents that occur through the JRQ application.
