Bandung Mayor Farhan Rushed to Hospital, Weak and on IV Drip
The health condition of Bandung Mayor M. Farhan suddenly declined, forcing him to be rushed to hospital from Bandung City Hall on Friday afternoon (10/7). Farhan had been at Bandung City Hall since midday, but his health reportedly deteriorated suddenly towards the evening. Farhan was then taken to hospital using an ambulance that picked him up at Bandung City Hall. When carried to the ambulance, Farhan was laid on a stretcher and had already been fitted with an IV drip and a nasal oxygen tube. “The Mayor is ill and is currently being treated by a medical team at the hospital,” said Bandung City Communication and Information Office Head Henryco Arie Sapiie. Before his health declined, Farhan was reported to have just received guests in his office. After that agenda, Farhan was scheduled to attend a plenary meeting at the Bandung City Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD). However, Farhan’s health condition drastically worsened. He was immediately rushed to hospital to receive intensive care. “For subsequent activities, they will be delegated to the relevant regional apparatus,” said Henryco.
