Bandung Mayor Farhan Rushed to Hospital by Ambulance, Face Pale and on IV Drip in A&E

The Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, was rushed to hospital in the city on Friday (10/7/2026) afternoon. He was seen being carried into an ambulance by staff to be taken to the hospital. Head of the Bandung City Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo), Henryco Arie Sapiie, confirmed that the mayor is unwell and is currently being treated by a medical team. He expressed hope that the mayor’s activities would be delegated to other relevant regional officials. “The mayor is sick and is being treated by the medical team,” he said. He stated that the nature of the mayor’s illness is not yet known, as the medical team is still conducting thorough examinations. “Not yet, up until now the medical team is still carrying out examinations,” he said.
