The implementation of the Job Fair Future Connect 2026 for the Central Bandung region, initiated by the Bandung City Manpower Office (Disnaker) on Thursday (18/6/2026), has received a positive response from the public. The activity is seen as an effective solution for job seekers to interact directly with various companies offering vacancies in a single location.

One participant, Wauliana, stated that the job fair was very helpful, especially for fresh graduates like herself. According to her, the existence of the job fair cuts through bureaucracy and saves time because applicants do not need to visit company offices one by one. “I am happy there is an activity like this. I also want to gain experience because I just graduated from high school,” Wauliana said at the event location.

Interestingly, the registration process for the Job Fair Future Connect 2026 has been digitally integrated. Wauliana recounted that she initially received information through social media platform TikTok, which she then followed up by monitoring the official account of the Bandung City Manpower Office. She admitted that the registration process via the New Bimma application was very easy for participants. “The registration was very easy. So there were no difficulties when signing up. It is very practical because you don’t have to come directly to the service office just to register,” she added.

On that occasion, Wauliana submitted applications to several large companies, including Ponyo and Propan, which she considered relevant to her educational background. The benefits of the job fair include time and cost efficiency for job seekers, direct access to HRD company representatives, a transparent registration process through the New Bimma app, and a diverse selection of job vacancies in one place.

Echoing Wauliana’s sentiments, another participant named Melisa also expressed high appreciation. She emphasised that the presence of many companies in one location provides flexibility for job seekers to choose positions that match their interests and competencies. Melisa hopes that the local government will implement such outreach programmes regularly. “Hopefully I will be called for a job and receive good fortune from here. My hope is that this activity continues to be held regularly so that more Bandung residents get the opportunity to work,” she concluded.

The Job Fair Future Connect 2026 is expected to help reduce the unemployment rate in Bandung by accelerating the meeting between labour supply and industrial market demand.
