Bandung Immigration Tightens Supervision of Foreign Nationals in Greater Bandung
The Bandung Class I TPI Immigration Office is tightening supervision of foreign nationals residing within the Greater Bandung area. As part of these efforts, officials have conducted inspections to verify the presence of foreign nationals at a company located in the West Bandung Regency area.
Yulianto Bimanegara, Head of the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Section at the Bandung Immigration Office, stated that a meeting for the Foreigner Supervision Team (Timpora) was held last week for West Bandung Regency and Cimahi City. He expressed hope that this policy would increase the effectiveness of foreign national monitoring.
He noted that the Head of the West Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, along with other relevant agencies, attended the meeting. Yulianto emphasised that synergy between agencies is crucial for the supervision of foreign nationals.
“It is hoped that synergy between agencies in monitoring foreign nationals will become stronger, so that the implementation of immigration supervision in the West Bandung Regency and Cimahi City areas can proceed effectively,” he said on Friday (31/07/2026).
