The Bandung District Government has ensured that all part-time contract workers (PPPK) in its jurisdiction will receive Eid holiday allowances (THR) for Idul Fitri 2026.

This measure was taken as a demonstration of the regional government’s commitment and appreciation for the dedication of these workers in supporting public services.

Bandung Regent Dadang Supriatna stated that the administration has allocated Rp12 billion in budget for THR payments to 7,550 part-time PPPK workers. This commitment was confirmed when the top official of Bandung District signed the fund disbursement application documents.

“Alhamdulillah, I have signed the application for the disbursement of THR for Part-Time PPPK workers in Bandung District. The amount is Rp12 billion for 7,550 people. God willing, it will be disbursed shortly,” he said on Monday (9 March).

The THR allocation will subsequently be distributed across several workforce categories, including teachers and education personnel numbering 4,320 people, comprising 2,379 teachers and 1,941 education staff. The remainder consist of contract workers outside the education sector.

Dadang emphasised that the appointment and granting of rights to part-time PPPK workers represents the implementation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Decree No. 16 of 2025. This policy regulates the gradual transformation of temporary workers’ status to part-time PPPK positions.

“This is a demonstration of our attention and care. These workers have been carrying out public service duties within the Bandung District Government. We want to ensure they also experience the joy of celebrating the holiday,” he stressed.

Regarding the disbursement timeline, whilst the exact date has not been specified, Bandung District Government through its Regional Finance and Assets Agency (BKAD) is accelerating administrative procedures to ensure the funds reach each worker’s account before Eid arrives.

“In any case, we will disburse it as quickly as possible,” Dadang added.
