Bandung City Government Accelerates Installation of Street Lighting on 17 Priority Roads
Bandung City (ANTARA) - The Transportation Department (Dishub) of Bandung City, West Java, is accelerating the installation of Public Street Lighting (PJU) on 17 priority road stretches to ensure more even road illumination and support public safety and comfort. Head of Dishub Bandung City Rasdian Setiadi stated that the work is being carried out in stages according to the time set by the government. “There are some that are our priority points according to the timeline that has been made, there are 17 beautification roads,” said Rasdian Setiadi in Bandung on Thursday. “Later from those 17, some already have PJU, some have PJU on the right side, some only on the left side,” he added. Therefore, they will strengthen by completing the installation at points that are not yet optimal. Rasdian added that the installation points have been mapped and will be realised in the next stage according to the plan. “Those 17 road stretches that do not have PJU or only have it on one side will be completed by us. The points are already there,” said Head of Dishub Bandung City Rasdian Setiadi.
