Bandarlampung Immigration deports Singaporean national
Based on the examination results, it was confirmed that the individual is indeed a Singaporean citizen, as evidenced by the passport he possessed; however, its validity had expired since July 28, 2025.
Bandarlampung (ANTARA) - The Class I TPI Bandarlampung Immigration Office carried out the deportation of a foreign national from Singapore named Nor Azmi Bin Hazli because he did not have immigration documents.
“The individual has been deported through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport,” said the Head of Intelligence and Enforcement Section at the Bandarlampung Immigration Office, Washono, in Bandarlampung, Sunday.
He said that the deportation activity was carried out based on a task order issued for the implementation of escorting and returning the foreign national to his country of origin.
He said that it is important to increase supervision of foreign nationals, especially those who have been subject to administrative immigration actions in the form of deportation.
“In addition, cross-agency coordination such as with airline companies, airport police, and the Singaporean Embassy needs to be continuously strengthened to ensure that the deportation process runs according to applicable regulations and procedures,” he said.
“Based on the examination results, it was confirmed that the individual is indeed a Singaporean citizen, as evidenced by the passport he possessed; however, its validity had expired since July 28, 2025. The foreign national entered Indonesia in June 2024 and frequently traveled back and forth between Singapore and Indonesia via the Batam port to meet his wife in Tanggamus,” he said.
