The Bandarlampung Class I Immigration Office (TPI) has deported a Yemeni national, Mohammed Saleh Ahmed Al, via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten. This deportation is part of an immigration administrative action carried out in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations to enforce immigration law within Indonesian territory, stated the Head of the Bandarlampung Immigration Office, Taufiq Hidayat.

He noted that the individual violated immigration laws by remaining in Lampung Province beyond the permitted period of his stay, specifically overstaying by 66 days. The deportation process proceeded smoothly and in accordance with regulations, with the Bandarlampung Immigration team escorting the individual to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport via Bakauheni Port and Merak Port.

Washono, Head of the Intelligence and Immigration Law Enforcement Section at the Bandarlampung Immigration Office, explained that the foreigner’s presence was first brought to light through community reports. Residents had raised suspicions regarding the individual’s presence at a guesthouse in Bandarlampung, prompting an immediate inspection of his immigration documents. Although his visa was valid until March 2026, the Yemeni national had remained in the country until May, resulting in the 66-day overstay. Authorities emphasised that monitoring the presence and activities of foreign nationals within the Bandarlampung jurisdiction will continue to be optimised to maintain public order and law enforcement.
