Bambang resigns from VDH
SINGAPORE (Reuters): Infrastructure engineering firm Van Der Horst (VDH) said yesterday that President Soeharto's second son Bambang Trihatmodjo had resigned as a director.
Bambang remained a substantial shareholder with a deemed interest of 6.08 percent of the company's total paid-up capital, a VDH statement said.
It said Bambang resigned because of his "very busy schedule and pressing commitments in Indonesia".
In April, Bambang resigned as chairman of construction firm L & M Group Investments Ltd.
