Bambang Pacul Promotes Historical Values at MPR Central Java Smart Quiz Competition
Bambang Pacul emphasised this at the opening of the LCC Four Pillars MPR RI 2026 at the provincial level in Central Java at MG Setos Hotel, Semarang, Central Java. Bambang greeted and appreciated each school that advanced to the provincial level. He also hoped that this activity would continue to serve as a reminder and reinforcement of nationalism for the new generation.
“If a nation forgets its own history, then we have no purpose in being a nation. The MPR RI initiates activities like this so that we always remember being a nation and a state. Because being a nation and a state is a consensus,” said Bambang in his statement on Saturday (11/4/2026).
Bambang explained that this consensus was then implemented into laws and so on. This includes deeply understanding the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, which has been amended four times.
The atmosphere became more lively when Bambang posed a question to all participants on a first-come, first-served basis. He asked the participants to clearly state the fourth paragraph of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The question was immediately answered enthusiastically by a participant representing SMAN 1 Pati.
“So when reading articles like that, it’s best to do it in a calmer and slower tone, so that it sinks deeper into the heart. Okay? Understand? Thank you,” said Bambang.
In addition, the Head of the Central Java Provincial Education Office, Dr Sadimin, stated that the MPR RI LCC is not just an ordinary knowledge competition, but a very strategic national education movement, especially to remind us of the Four Pillars of MPR RI.
“The Four Pillars of MPR RI are the main foundation for the establishment of our nation and state. To the competition participants, I advise you to use this competition as an opportunity to deeply study, reflect on, and practise the noble values of the Four Pillars of MPR RI,” said Sadimin.
Sadimin hopes that this event is not just about achieving victory, but also about realising a young generation that understands rights and obligations as citizens, loves the homeland, and is able to maintain unity amid diversity.
“I am confident that you all are future leaders. The knowledge you gain from preparing for this competition will be valuable provision when you continue your education, work, and even lead in various fields,” said Sadimin.
Sadimin also encouraged the competition to proceed honestly, sportingly, and with full joy. Teachers and parents can serve as role models in practising the Four Pillars of MPR RI in daily life.
“Show that the young generation of Central Java excels in knowledge, is strong in character, and steadfast in the spirit of nationalism,” he added.
It is known that in the previous 2025 LCC Four Pillars MPR RI, Central Java successfully won this event, achieved by SMAN 1 Wonosobo. Sadimin hopes that Central Java in 2026 will win this event again.
“Hoping that this year, may you all be able to achieve the best achievements again,” Sadimin concluded.
