Balongan Refinery Operating at Optimal Capacity, Director General of Oil and Gas Ensures Fuel Supply Secure During Eid

Fuel and liquefied petroleum gas availability are secure ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, and the public is urged not to worry.

This assurance was provided by the Director General of Oil and Gas (Dirjen Migas) of Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Laode Sulaeman, following a working visit to Pertamina’s Balongan Refinery yesterday.

Laode urged the public not to be concerned as fuel supplies are sufficient. According to him, Pertamina’s Balongan Refinery is currently operating at optimal capacity, ensuring that fuel supplies to the Jakarta, Banten, and West Java regions are secure and ready to provide the best service to holiday travellers.

“Balongan Refinery also possesses advanced technology with the highest Nelson Complexity Index (NCI) in Indonesia at 11.9, which means the fuel products produced by Balongan Refinery have excellent quality,” stated Laode.
