PT Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID) distributed sacrificial animals in Bugis Village, Serangan Subdistrict, Denpasar, on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 (1447 Hijriyah), during Eid al-Adha. The company provided one cow and one goat for the distribution.

This marks the latest in a series of annual sacrificial animal distributions by BTID to Masjid As-Syuhada, the only mosque on Serangan Island located in the Bugis Village settlement.

“The sacrificial aid is a manifestation of our gratitude and simple gesture of solidarity as part of the Serangan Village community. We hope BTID’s ongoing contributions bring blessings, joy, and unity for all,” said Zefri Alfaruqy, BTID’s Communication Department Head, in a statement on Thursday, 28 May 2026.

A total of 40 sacrificial animals, comprising 36 goats and four cattle, were collected at Masjid As-Syuhada, with meat distributed to 300 beneficiaries.

Masjid As-Syuhada’s management committee chairman, Muhammad Amir, praised BTID’s consistent annual support.

“We are grateful for BTID’s remarkable and consistent contributions over the years. We hope for continued and expanded support for mosque-related activities in future years,” Amir said.

Additionally, the Eid al-Adha celebrations in Serangan’s Bugis Village were marked by interfaith tolerance, with people of different religions, including local Hindus, participating in the meat distribution.

Eid al-Adha not only symbolises gratitude and social concern but also reflects the tangible harmony of coexistence.

“For us, this is customary, passed down through generations. We have always worked together with Hindu residents for joint activities, even outside religious holidays, to strengthen our bonds,” Amir added.
