Bali students to be in AIDS campaign

DENPASAR: Hundreds of Bali students will take part in Dance4Life, the youth arm of the World AIDS campaign, to be held at the Bajra Sandhi Museum, Renon, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27.

The activity is to be held in conjunction with upcoming World AIDS day on Dec. 1.

The program, with the theme "Moving to the Future, Breaking Silence and Taboos", is expected to increase the awareness of Balinese youth concerning HIV/AIDS and related issues.

It will also bring together young people, teachers, parents, activists, experts, the media and local government officials in a joint campaign against AIDS.

The program will include music and dance, talk shows and discussions involving noted musicians, designers, medical doctors and politicians.

Tickets for the event are priced at Rp 50,000 for students and Rp 100,000 for adults.
