The Bali Police Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas Polda Bali) continues to enhance the quality of clean, transparent, and accountable public services, particularly in issuing B1 category Driver’s Licences (SIM), whether for new applications or renewals.

Kompol I Ketut Mastra Budaya, Head of the SIM Section at Ditlantas Polda Bali, stated that B1 SIM services are a priority as the majority of applicants are commercial vehicle drivers who rely on this profession for their livelihood.

Ditlantas Polda Bali ensures all testing and administrative stages are conducted professionally without complicating applicants’ processes, while maintaining high road safety standards.

“B1 SIM services are closely tied to the productive and economic sectors of society, such as goods and minibus drivers. Therefore, Ditlantas Polda Bali must provide swift, friendly, and corruption-free services. However, given the size of these vehicles, competency and road safety remain non-negotiable priorities,” said Kompol I Ketut Mastra Budaya, Head of SIM Section at Ditlantas Polda Bali, on Tuesday (26 May 2026).

He added that these service improvements are part of implementing the Polri’s Presisi (Predictive, Accountable, and Fairly Transparent) transformation program, as well as a concrete commitment to achieving Integrity Zones (ZI) towards Corruption-Free Regions (WBK).

To ensure public comfort, Ditlantas Polda Bali has enhanced inclusive waiting facilities, clear digital and notice board information on application procedures, and staff ready to serve with smiles, greetings, and courtesy.

The B1 SIM testing process, both computer-based theory tests (AVIS) and practical driving exams, is conducted humanely by certified instructors. Officers provide education and guidance before tests begin to minimise applicant stress.

Ditlantas Polda Bali also urges the public to apply for B1 SIMs directly at the nearest SIM Administrative Unit (Satpas) without using intermediaries or brokers. All Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) fees are openly published and paid through legitimate banking channels.

Through these streamlined and transparent services, Ditlantas Polda Bali aims to boost public trust and produce competent, disciplined, and orderly public and goods transport drivers, contributing to road safety, security, order, and smooth traffic flow (Kamseltibcarlantas) across Bali.
