Bali Police to Prioritise Electronic Ticketing in Operasi Patuh Agung 2026

The Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) is focusing on electronic-based law enforcement in the implementation of Operasi Patuh Agung 2026 as an effort to improve public traffic discipline through the use of digital technology that is more transparent, accountable, and humane. This commitment was confirmed during the Pre-Operation Training (Latpraops) for Operasi Patuh Agung 2026 held by the Polda Bali Traffic Directorate at the Bali Province BPKSDM Building on Thursday, as part of the preparations ahead of the operation, which will be conducted simultaneously across all jurisdictions of the Polda Bali. The Latpraops was led by Polda Bali Chief of Operations, Commissioner Soelistijono, alongside Polda Bali Traffic Director, Commissioner Turmudi, and was attended by operation officials and personnel assigned to the Operasi Patuh Agung 2026 Task Force. The theme reflects Polda Bali’s steps to modernise the traffic law enforcement system through the utilisation of digital technology, particularly the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE). Polda Bali Traffic Director, Turmudi, stated that pre-operation training is a crucial stage to synchronise perceptions and response patterns, as well as to enhance personnel readiness before deployment to the field. The use of ETLE technology, both static and mobile, will be the primary instrument in prosecuting violations during Operasi Patuh Agung 2026. ‘Through this digital transformation, we want to build a law enforcement system that is more transparent, accountable, and humane. The use of technology such as static and mobile ETLE will be our frontline in disciplining road users in Bali,’ he said. During the Latpraops implementation, personnel received technical briefings related to the operation of electronic ticketing devices, mechanisms for inputting violation data, and prosecution procedures that prioritise educational and preventive approaches towards the community. Polda Bali believes the operation’s success will also contribute to maintaining Bali’s image as a safe, orderly, and secure world tourism destination for both residents and tourists.
