Bali Police to Prioritise Electronic Ticketing in Operasi Patuh Agung 2026

The Bali Regional Police are focusing on electronic-based law enforcement during the implementation of the 2026 Patuh Agung Operation. This initiative seeks to increase public traffic discipline by utilising digital technology to ensure a more transparent, accountable, and humane approach.

This commitment was emphasised during the Pre-Operation Training (Latpraops) for Patuh Agung 202<0xA0>6, organised by the Bali Regional Police Traffic Directorate at the Bali Provincial BPKSDM Building on Thursday. The training serves as part of the preparations for the operation, which will be conducted simultaneously across all jurisdictions under the Bali Regional Police.

The training session was led by the Head of Operations of the Bali Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Soelistijono, alongside the Director of Traffic for the Bali Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Turmudi, and attended by operational officers and personnel assigned to the 2026 Patuh Agung Task Force.

The theme reflects the Bali Regional Police’s steps towards modernising the traffic law enforcement system through the use of digital technology, specifically Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE).

Director of Traffic for the Bali Regional Police, Turmudi, stated that the pre-operation training is a vital stage for aligning perceptions and operational patterns, as well as increasing personnel readiness before deployment to the field.

The use of ETLE technology, both static and mobile, will serve as the primary instrument for addressing violations during the 2026 Patuh Agung Operation.

“Through this digital transformation, we aim to build a law enforcement system that is more transparent, accountable, and humane. The use of technology such as both static and mobile ETLE will be our frontline in disciplining road users in Bali,” he said.

During the training, personnel received technical briefings regarding the operation of electronic fine devices, mechanisms for inputting violation data, and enforcement procedures that prioritise educational and preventive approaches towards the public.

The Bali Regional Police believe that the success of this operation will contribute to maintaining Bali’s image as a safe, orderly, and secure global tourist destination for both locals and international visitors.
